Paper Submission Guidelines

Authors whose full papers have been accepted are invited to expand them into final papers. Final papers should be non-blinded paper incl. name(s) and affiliation(s) of all authors involved and contain between 2,500 and 3,000 words and be written in British English and may include 5 – 7 images. For this phase of submission, images do not need to be in high resolution; standard resolution is sufficient for review purposes.

Paper titles should be no more than 50 characters with spaces and should give a clear insight into the topic of the paper. Papers should be concise and follow a logical structure providing: Abstract, Introduction, Background, Methods, Results and Reflection, and Conclusion.

Final papers must be uploaded as a DOC(X)-file or a PDF-file to our website link by Friday, 10 May. Out of the list of themes and topics, an assignment word should be chosen for the paper. Where there is an overlap between the coverage of several themes and DMS areas, authors should choose the one they consider to be the most appropriate. The Design Modelling Symposium aims to produce Conference Proceedings that are both scientifically robust and visually compelling. Springer will initially publish these contributions as a book.

Springer provides a word template, which authors are gently asked to use, but please note that the full paper must still be blinded. More info to be found on https://www.springer.com/conference-proceedings-guidelines.
